These monster pumpkin bagels are a fun and tasty way to enjoy Halloween this year.
- 1 pack of ABE’s Pumpkin Bagels
- 2 large ripe avocados
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 sheets sushi/nori seaweed
- 12 pitted black Spanish olives
- salt and pepper
Preheat your oven grill to the highest temperature.
Slice each ABE’s Pumpkin Bagel in half and place under the grill until nice and golden. Remove and set aside.
Place the avocados in a small food processor with the lemon juice and a pinch of salt and pepper and blitz until smooth. (Or mash them together in a bowl using a fork to get the same consistency.)
Slice the olives into 16 ‘eyes’ for the monster bagels and set aside.
Use scissors to cut a selection of different mouths with teeth from the nori sheets. Two sheets should be enough to make 8 mouths.
Assemble: Spread the avocado evenly over each toasted pumpkin bagel half, place two olive eyes on each bagel then finish with one of the mouths you’ve cut out.
